THE STARTING POINT
Technically outstanding. And yet, no progress.
"I meet nine out of ten requirements — and I don't get an interview."
"Same role for six years. The ones who get promoted are the ones who sell themselves better."
"Maybe things would be better somewhere else. Maybe not. From the inside, I can't judge what I'm actually worth on the market."
"Fifteen years at the same company — and now restructuring. My last job application was ten years ago."
One gap behind all four situations.

DOES THIS FIT?
A word of honesty upfront
Specialization means drawing boundaries: my data, my network, and my experience come from working with engineers, scientists, and executives. For other professional fields, someone with the same depth in your field is the better choice.
and who I don't.
- You work outside engineering, IT, and science
- You're just starting out or fresh out of university — this program assumes professional work experience
- You're looking for someone to place you or handle your applications for you
- You need a new job by the end of the month
- You're looking for encouragement and motivation — rather than an honest, realistic assessment.
- You're targeting a position outside the DACH region
Who I work with,
- You're an engineer, computer scientist, or scientist with several years of professional experience
- You want to prepare your next career move discreetly and strategically — from positioning to negotiation
- You're technically strong, but currently below your market value in pay, level, or responsibility
- You want honest feedback with clear findings — even when they're uncomfortable
- You're ready to implement recommendations yourself

Frequently Asked Questions
What sets this apart from traditional career coaching?
The data foundation. Coaching works with methods and motivation — I work with patterns from 12 years in executive search: over 1,100 accompanied interviews, real salary bands, the decision-making logic on the employer side. You get findings instead of exercises — tested against real hiring decisions, not career-advice books.
I'm currently employed — how confidential is the process?
Fully confidential. There is no candidate database, nothing is passed on to companies, and I receive no commission from employers — I work solely on your behalf. No one learns about our work together unless you decide otherwise.
I have over 15 years of experience — is this still worth it for me?
All the more so. The higher the level, the fewer roles are advertised publicly — and the more the outcome depends on positioning, access, and negotiation rather than on your CV. Those three things are never taught systematically in technical careers. This consulting is built for senior profiles — not despite your experience, but because of it.
I don't want to change jobs right away, I want to keep developing — is this a fit for me?
Yes. The diagnosis shows where you stand and which lever will move you forward — a job change is one possible outcome, not a prerequisite. Positioning, visibility, and negotiation work just as well inside your current company: in promotions, salary reviews, and internal role changes.
I'm based abroad and want to enter the DACH market — is that possible?
Yes — in fact, that's a classic case, because market entry is exactly where insider knowledge of the local hiring process is missing most. To be straight with you: the diagnosis first establishes whether your profile, language level, and general circumstances make a realistic entry possible. Even a "not yet" is a finding you can work with.
How does the process work — and how much time do I need?
Remote via video, in stages along the three phases. Expect a few focused hours per week — the work happens alongside your job, not instead of it. Scope and duration depend on your findings; we'll define the specifics at the end of your career analysis.
What does working together cost?
That depends on the findings — scope and modules differ with your starting point. As a rough guide: it's a four-figure investment. I'll show you the specifics for your situation at the end of your career analysis — and only if it's a genuine fit. The analysis itself is free and comes with no obligation.
Can I deduct this from my taxes?
Yes, you can: for employees in Germany, career consulting undertaken for professional reasons is typically classed as income-related expenses (Werbungskosten, § 9 EStG) — it serves to secure and develop your income. You receive an invoice with a clear description of services for your tax records; depending on your personal tax rate, a noticeable share of the investment comes back. Austria and Switzerland have their own rules, some of them comparable.
I'm not sure yet — how can I get a clearer picture?
Two ways: on LinkedIn I write regularly about engineering careers in the DACH region — that's where you can see how I think and work. Or use the career analysis for exactly that purpose: 45 minutes, a real diagnosis, no obligation. Afterwards you'll know whether my approach is right for you.
